Orders: Quick Guide

Whether from an external marketplace or your very own web portal, you're going to be taking orders. Learn how to fulfill them, modify them, and not-lose-them-behind-a-shelf with these handy quick instructions.


  1. Log in to Sidewalk Merchant.

        

  1. Click on the Order menu, then click on Order Item Search, next to the
  2. The Order Item Search window will appear. Search by any field or combination of fields to bring up relevant results, including Search Type, Date Range, Partner Orders, Status, and Source.
  3. Use the search results to Modify or Fulfill Orders, to acknowledge Order Pick Up, or to print a Pick List, among others.

Modify Order

  1. Log in to Sidewalk Merchant.
  2. Click on the Order menu, then click on Modify Order, next to the  icon.
  3. The Begin Order Modify window will appear. Scan or key in the order number or serial ID you wish to modify.

  5. The Modify Order cart will open. Right-click any item in the order that you wish to modify, and click Modify, next to the  icon.

  7. The Modify Item window will appear. From here, one or more modification option will be available. These will allow you to:

 

  • Substitute: The Substitute window will appear. Search through your inventory for the correct item to substitute. Select it by clicking the  button.  
  • Manually Fulfill: The Manual Fulfill window will appear. Input information into the various fields (note: Supplier, Tax, and Shipping Cost are required).
  • Cancel the Order: The Cancel Order window will appear. Select the reason for the cancellation from the drop-down list and click OK.
  • Cancel the Fulfill: The Cancel Fulfill window will appear. Select the reason for the cancellation from the drop-down list and click OK.
  • Change Ship Type: The Ship Type window will appear. Change the ship type and click OK.

 Click Done. The cart will complete.

 

Order Fulfill

  1. Log in to Sidewalk Merchant.
  2. Click on the Order menu, then click on Order Fulfill, next to the icon.
  3. The Begin Order Fulfill window will appear. Scan or key in the order number or serial ID you wish to fulfill.
  4. The Order Fulfill cart will open. Scan in the items you wish to fulfill.
  5. Click Done.
  6. The Complete Order Fulfill window will appear. Enter shipping information into the relevant fields. (Note: All fields except for Weight are mandatory.) Click OK.
  7. The cart will complete.

Order Pick Up

  1. Log in to Sidewalk Merchant.
  2. Click on the Order menu, then click on Order Pick Up, next to the icon
  3. The Begin Order Pick Up window will appear. Scan or key in the order number or serial ID you wish to mark as picked up.
  4. The Order Pick Up window will appear. Click .
