It slices, it prices...
•Improvement: Welcome List Price to Hero! If Amazon knows the list price of an item, we'll display it in the Adoption Editor and the Courses page. Like this:
•Improvement: You're used to marking adoptions as Required, Recommended, or Optional. Now, if you've asked us to turn it on for your campus, you can also mark an adoption as Choose One. Some folks like that just as much as they like Required, so we gave you one more choose, er, we mean choice (See how witty we are?). Anyway, enjoy it! Or don't. Your choose. Choice. Whatever.
•Improvement: We've added the Section Number to printed booklists! If your students rely on their section to navigate your physical bookstore, then this is wonderful news.
Terms of Endearment
•Improvement: A couple of you boast 30+ active terms at a time, and you came up with this idea first. But we think everyone will like it: on your Terms page you can now change what order terms will appear in that little drop-down on the Courses page. This one:
This feature is optional; if you do nothing, then Hero will order the terms like it does today. But if you have many terms active with similarly set Control Dates, and you know that "Spring 2 2018 Main Campus All The Good Classes" will be the most popular term for students to select, you can help your students out by floating it to the top.
•New Feature: If you use the Nebraska point-of-sale's Cross Sell function, then as of this week (and just before spring rush for semester schools, we might add), you'll be able to suggest optional items for your students in Hero. Hero imports whatever you have in the POS, and displays it on the Courses page like so:
That's it! Great little bundle of goodness, isn't it? If you have any questions, complaints, or season's greetings, grab your nearest Customer Success Manager or send us all an email. We'll get you taken care of!
