Tell me About...
New Feature: This screen used to be just for us, and we're excited to share it with you. As an Admin, you can ask Marketplace for a quick snapshot of an order -- or of an entire store -- with a very simple search.
It's a predictive search, too. So don't stress.
Everything's pretty self-explanatory here, but we should point out the Internal Account Number field. That's a great place to put your indiCo account number, to tie the data all together.
Here's how Orders look. If you're supporting a client, this is a fantastic place to start, and if you need more detail, just click that hyperlink to see the order itself.
Book-specific Canceling (with audit trails!):
Improvement: You've always been able to adjust specific lines on an order, cancelling books until you had the right quantity of a title. But until today, you didn't have a way to remove a specific unit, and you didn't have an audit trail to go with it.
Now, you do! Each copy of a title has a unique Reconciliation ID, and cancelling that copy will provide an audit trail to keep your data clean and your head clear.
To get here, search by the Order Number or the Reconciliation ID; whichever is easiest for you! (And if you're curious what "Behind Schedule" means, check the next section!)
Spreading the Love
Since we were messing with the Order Management screens anyway, we made a battery of improvements to that screen and the workflow on it. Let's start with the Order Status:
Most orders are On Track, unless the ship date is 7 days or less and less than 70% of the order has been received, then Marketplace will display Behind Schedule on the order. That's your queue to hop to it.
Next up: neat things! You'll see a way to filter results on the right hand side there, and a text box above it that you can use to search by any field in the order, including Reconciliation ID, ISBN, Title, Tracking Number, and seller. You can also Select All on the left hand side. You can use any or all of these means to get to the exact set of books that you'd like to Cancel from the order. And finally...
If you do choose to cancel something, you can also choose whether to alert your Buyer by email.
That's it! If you have questions, concerns, or crock pot recipes, come find us on Slack or shoot a quick email over to email@example.com. We'll get you taken care of.
