You can't RUSH genius
This week, we had book rush on the brain. Enjoy these improvements!
•Improvement: By default, your students' printable booklists are sorted by Author. If this year you told Santa that you'd rather like your printed booklists sorted by Course, then Merry Christmas; Hero does that. Just reach out to your Customer Success Manager or shoot a quick email over to Sidewalk Support and we'll make the switch.
•Improvement: If your students are using the Guest Catalog, they'll no longer see a Login button. That would be silly and we realize that now.
•Improvement: We know that you love HEOA compliance more than the average bear, so we're improving Hero's options here, as well. When a term is in View Only mode (remember, you control these dates yourself), you can now choose to display Bookstore pricing (your pricing) without an "Add to Cart" button, meaning that you can display your pricing without being open for business. You can also add a message explaining what's going on, if you like.
•Improvement: Speaking of communication -- a couple of you asked for a banner message to display to your students as soon as they log in to Hero. We thought that was a great idea. You'll find the option in your Communication Configuration page, and you can make it say whatever you like. Go nuts!
•Improvement: This is a little thing, but we think you'll dig it: previously, if someone clicked on your logo in the upper left of Hero, they'd come straight to Sidewalk. And while nuestra casa es tu casa, we figured you'd prefer to send them elsewhere. Maybe. If so, reach out to your Customer Success Manager or, again, shoot a quick email to Sidewalk Support with the URL you'd like to send people to when they click your logo.
•Improvement: One more item about shopping, then we'll finish with Price Insights. Again, this is a little thing: we've changed the wording of the "Cancel" button in the web cart to say "Continue Shopping." That's so much more welcoming.
•Improvement: OK, Price Insights! We added book Titles to the page a bit ago, and now we've added them to the downloadable report, too!
